I keep uploading icons when I don't have anything to post about except being sick. I've bought gross salmiakki-flavoured cough syrup, and am just counting the hours between when I can have doses of it and rationing out bits of one more Heyer novel (Faro's Daughter) in between del.icio.us-surfing for CSI (Nick/Greg), Heroes (various, but nothing that breaks the Matt/Mohinder OTP, which is rather limiting, especially if you're getting a little tired of incest tropes), bandslash, various sorts of rps, and anything else I can find that will hold my attention. Feel free to leave any random recs to do with any fandoms you can think of.

All right, here's a thing. I was watching CSI and thinking about Nick/Greg and the corresponding slash (and RL rumours) about the actors who play them, George Eads and Eric Szmanda, who as best I recall were cohabiting a few years ago. Aside from these unconfirmed rumours (which I provisionally believe because it pleases me), the only other pair of life partners/ dating people I can recall from amongst the regular cast of a long-running tv show were Siddig El-Fadil (aka Alexander Siddig) and Nana Visitor, who met on Deep Space Nine and were married for a while. I'm not counting movies, of course, I know it happens in the movies. But tv series. Anyone?

Both of The OC's main couples were dating IRL for a while. Mischa Barton and Benjamin McKenzie were kinda squicky, given that she was 18 and he was 26. Adam Brody and Rachel Bilson were dating for a good portion of the show and IIRC were engaged at one point, but they broke it off during the last season.

i provisionally believe george eads is gay, though not with eric szmanda, but it turns out in the latest tv guide that george has had a girlfriend for the past three years.

Michael Weatherly from NCIS had a bit of a compulsion for dating/getting engaged to co-stars for a bit.

When he was on Loving (day time soap opera) he married his on-screen love interest Amelia Heinle. They divorced, he moved on to Dark Angel and eventually got engaged to Jessica Alba while the show was still on. They never made it to the altar.

Kelly Ripa met her husband Mark Consuelos when they co-starred on All My Children (and became a romantic pairing on the show).

It's actually extremely common on day time soaps for co-stars to get involved.
