Hey, I share some of your hair removal problems and all of your issues with the Bare Skin Police.

When I had 1/4" of underarm hair while shopping with my Mom back in high school, she sneered, "Oh, are you going for the Madonna look, now?" (Madonna being the only public female figure w/ unshaven pits that she knew about.) Thanks, Mom.

I have thick, coarse, and far-reaching black hair between my legs. (not as much as yours, I suspect, but it seems more than average.) When I was first going to bdsm parties where people would see me nude, I tried shaving it all off, but you can guess that was a tragedy. I compromised by keeping a tidy triangle (larger than all the other women's hair areas by necessity) and "only" shaving or depilating the edges and the "bottom" half. Still torture on the edges, but antibiotic creams made it mostly bearable. Same for swimming in high school, but I only shaved the bits that the suit didn't cover.

I only get shit from shallow women or "Dominant" men who think all sub women should be shaved bald down there. I hate that attitude and all the disempowerment and infantilization that goes with it.

Currently, I use electric trimmers to keep the volume down in general, and I occasionally (as a treat to my occasional lover) use it to get nearly down to the skin in all the other areas. But my lovers have just accepted that it's a rare day when I shave either my legs or my crotch, whether they shave or not. I guess my leg hair is not so thick since I went on and then back off of testosterone. Nobody mentions it, and I wear a lot of skirts when the weather permits. Maybe I feel a little embarrassed, though, because I frequently wear tights or knee socks to cover most of it.
