have you tried Lower Decks? it takes a little time to hit its stride (as all Trek does, really) but it is made with a pure love for Star Trek and especially for TNG. it's my favorite of all the new Trek efforts (followed by not-Trek but totally is The Orville which again takes time to hit its stride and then is better than it has any right to be).
