EXPERIENCING STRONG URGE FOR HET HARLEY QUINN AND JOKER STOP. SEND HELP OR STORY STOP. PREFERABLY STORY STOP.

hahaha. it's canon, of course, but i didn't realize there were official stories. try a graphic novel. batman adventures: mad love.
Based on the WB animated series. The critically-acclaimed tale of how the Joker turned his Arkham Asylum psychiatrist into his cunningly twisted sidekick, Harley Quinn—a foe as deadly as any Batman has ever faced.

yeah. i even went looking for it and waded through an entire storylet of middle length with HORRIBLE grammar and punctuation. unfortunately by no stretch of anything can i rec it, and there doesn't seem to be as much as you'd expect. maybe the pros do a better job. i hope. i wish.

maybe someone ELSE should write some. i fear i don't know nearly enough about the canon to attempt it, alas.

This is a sad fact of the fandom as it stands: I, too, have gone looking for good Harley/Joker, and I have found none. I entertained thoughts of writing some, at one point, but I was still neck-deep in Sleepy Hollow fandom and my muses at the time refused to stand aside for anything.

Perhaps one day.

Damn. I have a sudden overpowering need to get a copy of that graphic novel. Wonder if it's any good...

me too. if you get it let me know. but then, we're both in what could be called 'work' in only the very loosest of terms, so.
