miss completely

i had to stay awake to call mom at 8:00; the idea was that the ringing would help her find her cell phone, which she might have left in her classroom (9.9). no luck, apparently. will study The Layout Problem when i wake up again. yo-ho-ho and back to bed. an' all that.
