(no subject)

we have these cds of old 78s--my uncle joe, a music guru, collects them and is a connoisseur of pops and crackles, and daddy and mommy bought him a big box of them at a garage sale or something and in gratitude he used his super-neato recording and mixing equipment to burn several cds of them for us.

we've got one in the cd changer, along with the stones, a live mott (not 'the hoople' because two members leff) and oakenfold and bob marley.

it reminds me of [the one ep of] carnivale [that i've seen].
