plus i really didn't like the whole... moral. we're not really in love, we're just... best friends... deceiving ourselves... i don't know. it seems so tasteless to draw lines in love like that. tasteless and, more importantly, tending to miss the point. it felt like it was trying to push across a moral that i found really distasteful. it seemed to me that not only were they best friends, but one of them genuinely wants the other for a life partner, at least, and, like, are they saying life partnership has an essential element of a whole bunch of lust?
i don't even want to talk about why i dislike it anymore; i find it irritating and somewhat disturbing.
