keira knightley is so... loveable as a wild sixteen year old butch tomboy. with her little ribs! she should do more lesbian flicks. she's good at it, even if she's staunchly het.

no, it was meant to be one, but then the director chickened out and rewrote it before filming. however, the strong feminist center and much of the lesbian vibe is still present. it's sort of... slashy.
