is there no truth in advertising?

we've got a target ad here, from the newspaper, and it has a big slogan:

PRICES SO LOW
YOU'LL NEED ANOTHER CART


doesn't that strike anyone else as a painfully bad slogan? i mean. you think it's going somewhere and then it... doesn't. maybe that was on purpose. >.>

The worst slogan ever belongs to the Chicago Transit Authority. They run the buses, subways, etc. for the city of Chicago. They're HORRIBLE, but they're all we have--there isn't any alternative transit.

So their (very apt) slogan is:



Someone once scrawled "bend over and" in front of "take it." Even more apt.
