I'm glad you didn't think it was hideous:-) As for the ooc, well, I can see why, I think. I was trying to make them seem like younger versions of themselves, though I wonder if 'younger' has any relevenace if you're immortal? 'Less jaded versions' might be a better description. Aziraphale especially is a lot less cynical than in the book.
