when i went to the bathroom at four am, wax was still up. i lay in bed trying to get back to sleep for a while listening to her giggle and whisper to the cats in the next room. and i woke up again at six when she went to bed. and then i had to wake up! i slept until nine, a little past my 8:15 alarm, even though i went to bed at midnight; it's just that the alarm went off in the middle of a sleep cycle. my rest was messed up because of going to the bathroom four times (i was feeling dehydrated, so i drank two glasses of water before bed) early in the night, and the last ninety-minute cycle would've ended considerably after eight. the alarm shook me out of it--just what i've been trying to plan to avoid.

does anyone know what a sun lamp actually is and looks like, or where you get it, or what it costs?

They're the orange/red bulbs that used to randomly be in hotel bathroom fixtures. Very, very hot. Think you can put them in the steel shells that like. mechanics use.**
