it's raining, grossly.  the swimhall in turku doesn't have a hot tub, which does away with the immediate need for swimsuits but is nonetheless disappointing.  meanwhile, a gazillion other small things,  many of them located in my abdomen, are conspiring to make me feel uncomfortable and kind of slimy on the in- and exteriors both.  also stiff, cold, light-headed and cranky. 

i think i really need to see a movie, cause i don't have any of the books i'm craving.
