i don't think my toll house cookies have ever come out so well before. i guess it's... i think it's that i added the baking soda dry to the dry mixture before mixing it with the eggs-butter-sugar, instead of fizzing it up in hot water and pouring it in wet like the fannie farmer baking book says. huh. who knew laziness was the key? but i've made a double batch. the plan was, one with chocolate chunks and one with ~~m&m's~~ smarties, but smarties (they don't have m&m's at all) are quite unpopular in finland and we didn't find any, and as i told wax, trekking all over for sweatpants is bad enough; i refuse to trek all over for a specific type of candy.

slash party in an hour and i'm going to be a tad late because i've still got two batches that have to come out of the oven. see y'all soon though.
