ahahahah. baby!writings of all kinds of people like astolat, cesperanza and resonant8. intriguing and cute in most cases. of course some of the stuff (though none by those three... i single them out because i particularly like their work of course) is so bad i can't get through it without laughing, and some of it i can't get through at all.

rimming just should not have anything to do with deep spiritual connections, people. it just should NOT. and in point of fact, i'm not sure the phrase 'soul-deep connection' should ever be used. i mean, EVER.

Hee. Yes, the Sentinel fandom is occasionally a bit over-the-top that way.

The interesting thing about baby!writing is that people never start out completely crap and then get great. They can start out OK, or even mediocre, and get great, but nobody ever starts out crap and turns into a swan. Someone should communicate my wisdom on this subject to all the awful hacks in fandom - there is a limit to how much you can improve. No, really. So, you know, anatomically-incorrect-NC-17-poor-grammar-can't-use-spellcheck-Mary-sue-writer? Quit now. While you're...not ahead, per se, but at least not further behind.
