i wouldn't be able to drop writing... though i may eventually drop fandom. if i'm able to write professionally. even then, though, i'm not sure if i would. it's too much fun. in any case, i don't want to now, even if it does take up quite a lot of time.

how far did you get in japanese? i'm trying to learn french but i don't want to be great at it, just good enough that i can have conversations, read it with minimal help from a dictionary, and maybe write a bit.
