i have homework, but i can't focus on anything right now except tezuka/ryoma. i spent hours this morning uploading hyotei arc caps in preparation for a post of squee and hours more making new icons and alösdkfjöasdlfjasöldkjf. this pairing especially, but this entire canon, really, is just incredible.

When I watched Hyotei, I had a paper due the next day. And I was completely unable to concentrate at all. I kept opening word and like, hundreds of words about Tezuka and Ryoma and Fuji were pouring out and I just kept thinking about how that was so not about Fig Trees.

yeah, wow. i envy that. i haven't had that kind of drive to write in over a year. but i also take so long to get into and out of the mood for writing, and find it so hard to mentally switch and do something else, that i rarely allow myself to start writing if i don't have hours ahead of me in which to continue.

unless i'm in a really boring lecture or pissed off at a teacher. <.

hmmm, i hear you only heard second-hand that it was my favourite and you didn't get any feedback, so i'm the one who owes you an apology. i always feel guilty when i get thanked for a rec. after all, the rec is hardly a gift to the author. it's not even addressed to them.

oh it's TOTALLY special. look at his EYES there when he passes the trio. It's like he's caught in a tractor beam. ASDJKADSFJD it's like Tezuka has just put permanent *_* in his eyes and it will never go away.

LOTS OF PRACTICE, basically. And the gratuitous use of emoticons.

It was worse when I had all the random icons that people on lj had given me and i had no particular association with any of them except for the keywords, and i made them all the lyrics to "can't touch this" and then kept mixing them up, so i'd try to gently emote at someone using Britney Spears and wind up flipping someone off with George Bush. Life. :))
