hp dream and poa and remus

'are you awake?' my dad asks my sister.
'i would think SO,' she snarls, with her eyes closed, and still completely asleep, 'since i'm talking and MOVING.' (and then he leaves.) (he's so annoying! AUGH.)

i dreamed i was taking a final exam from dumbledore which was designed like an essay test, but where i just had to draw about a million little tiny, and outline-only, sketches of people's heads, as the answers to questions that had nothing to do with drawing or heads.

finished re-reading poa (it was lost but i found it near the bottom of a stack of little critter books and stolen library books on the floor between the speaker and the leg of the computer desk, behind a crate of books and magazines, in the library). the basis for sirius/remus is so strong! and so many people write remus badly. it does a great injustice to a really very complicated character. i fell asleep thinking brilliant happy thoughts about seeing it directed by cuarĂ³n. raise your hands, anyone else who can't wait?

bakshi bitching about jackson's lord of the rings

bwahahahah!

check this out!

"I wasn't contacted, I wasn't asked for the rights to do it, let's just put it that way. I wasn't asked for the rights to do it, no one's ever spoken to me about it. I'm kind of stunned that they are doing it."...

He also believes that his visualizations of the Tolkien characters are a part of the public consciousness, but that he doesn't get the credit that he feels he deserves. "Understand that I'm not bitching here, this is very important to me. But when you look at (the new film's) Ringwraiths flying through the forests, it's like a scene out of my movie."

picard would not kick captain kirk's butt. ::fume::

on the plus side, you see sir ian and patrick stewart bantering. banter! ::fan:: i tried to transfer my chess icon from the other computer, but it's too black and white anyway, and the disk was corrupted.

Thou shalt not throw hoops at gadgets.

this study abroad coordinating twit has used three exclamation points in a row. um? ow. am feeling this urge to violence. maybe i'd better go eat something.

hip, hip, hooray

i keep my aim security set to buddies-only due to some problems last year. since i've started trillian, a couple of times trillian has spontaneously turned that security feature off so that i'll log on and ... off it'll be. which hasn't caused more than one problem so far, but i wonder if anyone knows how to fix this. maybe if i use aim to sign into each account separately and set them there. i read somewhere that trillian uses the data stored in the aim ... servers... or... something. GAH. my ear itches.

[livejournal.com profile] aragornonroof and [livejournal.com profile] gandalfnbalrog have journals. now it's just sam and frodo. i see someone gave [livejournal.com profile] hollsk a code for the ghetto hobbits, too.

and it's really damp and uncomfortable in here.
