and we give and give and fall and fall

i'm thinking, and this is a shot in the dark, that if you don't reliably know how to upload icons and post images you shouldn't post them to icon communities.

icon orgy

uploaded four new icons. for me that's like an orgy. i can't usually stand to lose more than one at a time.

i thought the holmes novels just weren't very slash from a study in scarlet, the sign of four, and the adventures of sherlock holmes. but then i read his death and his return...

oh my god. i read online somewhere last week that in the early stories, he insults watson three times for each endearment or compliment (something like that, numbers possibly a little fucked up), and that after The Return, it's like seven or eight endearments per insult. i can well believe it. not to mention (i admit to some bias here) i half expected watson to grab him and embrace him and sob something in his shoulder in the first story back. that part was my slash-goggles, but the high-running emotional tension was certainly not my imagination.

::sigh::

keyword: 'love.' heh.
