...there are more, but you're not interested, i imagine.

if i were keeping a list of funnily misplaced modifiers--which i'm not--this would be on it (all nouns changed, to protect the author): he stared at the crown fixedly, wishing he wore it himself, instead of his enemy.

and who wouldn't rather wear a crown than an enemy? especially when enemies can get so heavy. hee!

...Adrienne here. Author of "When Darkness Falls" and various other bits of F/S ilk on L.E. and elsewhere:) I feel like such a heel--I started reading your things recently, and I've been too lazy to send feedback. Then my friend Claire ran across your LJ today and sent me this entry, jumping up and down. I blushed and decided I have to fix my laziness, and fast. Your "Crush" and "Waiting for Courage" are on my favorites list; I just reccomended you to a new fan-friend of mine who's also slash-inclined. Have you anything else in progress? I must admit, I never worked up the courage to look at RPS till the other night, either, and yours was the first plunge I took--and I was rather impressed. It's a different concept to me, but it's well-done, on your part. Keep it up, and I swear I shan't get out of here without apologizing a last time. Thanks for this tiny bit of a spotlight.
