grrrrumble

so apparently something about going into and out of sleep mode is bad for wax's computer, and so last night i broke it again, although i guess it wasn't really my fault, but something bad happened to the network card on my watch.  she can't get online and her brother, who fixes and builds our computers, has a baby and isn't answering the phone.  ("where is mece? why is he not helping me?") so i guess we're gonna go mail a package (but not perhael's; i mailed that wednesday so you should have it soon).  oh, we're going to shop first.  you can pre-order astolat's real published book today and that's definitely on the list.

and oh god, but wax's computer, in its multiple crashes, lost about 500 words of fic that was positively agonising to write, hours and hours of what felt like shoving my brain through a strainer--and then froze and lost the autorecover.

goddammit!
