he's only partially expressionless!

löfksjöfasf. i noticed that in "a duel in the rain", when fuji has started using higuma otoshi and ryoma has started using smashes but hasn't figured out how to make fuji's return go out...

tezuka closes his eyes. ♥

i can only assume he's thinking, "what an obnoxious brat he is. i probably shouldn't find this so adorable." or possibly, "yes, he is being stubborn, and he's somehow going to make it work. which is partly why i am obsessed with him."

and here's

I think it's all of the above, plus "This is getting to be a problem." :D :D :D

I AM BACK and I cannot WAIT to read all your squee posts.

i'm starved for tenipuri interaction.

even though i've talked about it for hours and hours and i stayed up till 4.30 talking about it with chiya the day before yesterday. :X

wait! what's a problem, ryoma's stubbornness or his own obsession with ryoma?

hahahah, ryoma's stubbornness totally works though, because he always manages to win that way. ♥

i've been starved since July. And it doesn't seem to end. I should be worried.

I meant his own obsession with Ryoma! But you're right - Tezuka just sort of accepts Ryoma's stubbornness, doesn't he?

Actually, one of the things I love most about their dynamic is that Tezuka never tries to change Ryoma. He never tries to mold Ryoma into his image or curb the impudence or the brattiness or the cocky arrogance. He steps in when things get out of hand, but I love that he seems to like Ryoma that well just as he is. AHHH. LOVE. SO MUCH LOVE.

lkajfdöaskldf. he doesn't just like him that way--he secretly loves those qualities. THAT SMIRK. he thinks they're SEXY.

askfjs;dlad YES. He wants Ryoma to be bratty and obnoxious to him IN BED.

god, I love/hate how perverted this show makes me. I can't help that everyone is apparently fully sexually developed at age 13. :((

i just ignore the purported ages because they make my brain hurt. and they don't really act that age anyway--well, ryoma could possibly be a convincing 12, but nobody else.

... what is this ryoma song, "crying sky"? it's kind of trippy. it sounds like, i don't know, like it could come from some album of 80s pop romance ballads.
