i'm still reading badfic at ff.net. the first sentence of a chapter was:

Have ever hear a song that makes you want to walk in circles?

[pause for the audience's horrified silence.]

cim: "oh yes! that one madonna tune! i remember - it was so strange! i was seized by the urge to do slow laps around the table!"
perhael: me, i bought a human-sized hamster wheel when i first heard that one coldplay song, so i could run in circles alllllll day long.
cim: yeah, but that isn't the same, is it? because this is supposed to make you walk in circles.
lilah: oh, drat. well, i suppose i've never had that feeling! now, skipping in circles... i get that feeling all the time.
cim: and just once, when i was in the dallas airport, a country song came on the loudspeakers and i practically had to tie myself down, so strong was the urge to turn cartwheels in a circle.

Perhaps they meant you walk in circles because the song's so agonizingly bad you can do nothing else?
Of course...that's just me applying, omg, logic to badfic. :P

all that sentence makes me think of is soul coughing's walk around in circles--which i think the whole point was not walking in circles?
