closing in on 'the other half of his soul' here

This [flocked] story just referred to a person as 'his miracle'. (Not as bad as 'the other half of his soul', okay, but way worse than 'his lover'.)

His miracle moved closer to him without turning around, making himself comfortable and warm.

Wait... what?

No, I think it's worse than the other half of his soul. Though they're both pretty cringeworthy.

Maybe his OTP has stigmata. Or a birthmark like the virgin mary on his ass.

There was this West Wing Sam/Josh fic I read once in which Sam's nickname for Josh was Mir, short for Miracolo (Sam's half Italian in this fic, and becomes head of his family with Godfather tropes that would embarass even a MCR writer) and when Josh meets Sam's mother, she instantly knows what Mir is short for when he tells her that's Sam's nickname. Because there are no other words in Italian that start with 'mir' at all. And of course, the very first word that would come to anyone's mind to describe Josh is 'miracle'.

Still not as bad as 'the sober man', for my money.
