It's New Year's, so now I can thank you for the rec for Nearly Indestructable: and thank you so much for not laughing at the typo in the *title*; my excuse is that I got the idea for the story about 6 hours before the archive closed, and was still thinking of a title as the countdown clock was hitting zero.
