Funny story: I don't wear earrings because I got my ears pierced when I was 8 in a disastrous disaster that resulted in my being allergic to base metals now. It took a while to realize that's what it was, of course, when I was getting rashes all over my ears and neck, and even after I switched to plastic posts (because even the gold-plated ones and silver ones were too much for me at the time: since then my tolerance waxes and wanes) and then let the holes close, I used to get rashes on my chest from where pendants hung through my shirt. Nowadays sterling silver and gold are both safe, but any baser metals I can only wear for maybe half a day at a time!
At any rate, I was contemplating a big fancy brooch, but I don't have an appropriately red one (the bride's desired theme is b/w/red, and the red shoes are her requirement). I will look around at my preferred jewelry and accessory spots to see if I can locate one, though. Preferably a sparkly one.
I wish I could wear earrings so that I could wear some sparkly long chandelier ones like Alice wears to the art show in Closer.
