Yes, but I think it's very much a matter of fandoms you move in! Both of the people who weren't Wax are mostly in plebe fandoms where many of their flisters literally couldn't figure out how to sign in with OpenID even after it was explained step-by-step. And Wax avoids... people who "do" meta, apparently. She says she thinks it's boring. Actually, she spends most of her time hanging out at the Adam-related offshoots of ohnotheydidnt, these days, which isn't even really fandom at all.
