I didn't notice that particular possibility for semantic confusion when I was writing it. I tried to find a way to rephrase, but I'm a bit handicapped by the fact that that's actually the confusion that's occurring. But of course I didn't mean to suggest that all victims of the Holocaust were Jewish and I'm obviously well aware that they weren't and hope that others are too. So I've added a statement to that effect.
