It is my standard shoulder-able handbag, large enough for a book and bottled water but not big enough to be a tote, that I would call a purse while living at home in the US. I did actually check the EU sorts of equivalents of Zappos, but. I kind of go into the search with a sense of despair and then emerge from after a few hours of online shopping even *more* despairing, which is kind of the opposite of how I feel when shopping for shoes (even when I don't find what I want) (though I know many people do feel that way about shopping for shoes).
I guess the problem is being picky in a way that makes me reject almost everything, but without any specific tangible guidelines that help me direct my search in a positive way. So instead I just feel like I'm wandering in a wasteland of bags made by and for people with completely alien feelings, like if I were shopping in a giant shoe emporium selling nothing but Crocs and Uggs.
