I don't think that those few old schoolers hauling their wee wagons into a circle realise that 1. it's not 1994 anymore, and 2. transformative works fandom kind of outnumbers them by a lot"", nor 3. that their other-than-best-related-work award winners and pro GOH and actual paying members more and more are people who grew up in transformative works fandoms.
