Sorry, I didn't mean to answer at such length but I've thought about this myself. The triangle bits are the most visually engaging in a lot of her works but the hardest bits to shrink successfully because of the quality of the original photos a lot of the time. I went and experimented some more as a result of this comment using the biggest source image I found, Five Choirs jacquard hanging (1928), but I didn't get a lot farther. I have another day's worth of icons to post though so.
