top: black cotton tshirt. it says FBI on the back. my aunt and uncle bought it for me when they visited at this funny wacked out hippieish 'army surplus' store in downtown mt holyoke, massachusetts. this entry is about the other shirt they bought me that day.

outer garment: brown/green herringbone polartec 200 pullover purchased six years ago from lands' end, quite roomy, very very well-loved and often-worn, but not worn out because they're cool like that. in the polartec craze had many ask where i got it, as the pattern is quite unusual. it was one of their special finds thingies, which was only available for one month, and was extra cheap, cause a buyer found the fabric on closeout.

pants: cherry-red flannel baggy drawstring pajama pants. the only way to get pants long enough is to make them myself, so this is what i have done for the past four years, using a pair of ugly widelegged jeans from the 98 school year as a pattern. the first pair were actual PANTS of khaki twill, with pockets. they're now for housepainting in. and these are the fourth pair of pajama bottoms i've made, using the old pairs as a pattern, for myself. they all came from those jeans, though. these were born just before christmas 2001.

slippers: dark brown shearling, sueded on the outside. first pair were a birthday gift from my grandpa bob 6 years ago; they wore out and he replaced them for me, also for my birthday, the year before last. also lands' end.
