they might not even be related.

what does it mean if your stomach hurts, not from food or hunger or anything, apparently not gastro-intestinal at all? i mean, how can your stomach hurt and food NOT be involved--assuming you haven't been stabbed, which is what i feel like. or got an ulcer. my daddy has one. luckily, his torso is still numb, and likely to remain so for a long time. it's so strange to say 'luckily' about things like that--yet it keeps coming up.

By itself, stomach pain can come from a bunch of things. It can be something as mundane as a muscle spasm or gas pocket (try holding your arms straight up - if that gets rid of it, it's probably gas). It can be nerves/emotional/ulcery stuff - I had godawful stabbing pains when my depression was untreated.

You might try some really gentle antacid - the little capsules don't taste like anything, and start work almost immediately.

Keep a note of your symptoms and if they keep up, talk to your doctor. S/he can tell quite a lot just from where you put your hand to point out where it hurts. ^_^

You're golden, then.

Do try the hands in the air thing, though, just 'cause it's cool when it works. ;)
