le expedition

did a bunch of errands. i bought dvds-- aotc, star trek nemesis, two weeks notice, and this other hugh grant movie, about a boy, because they had buy two get one free, and i had two i wanted to buy but no third i knew i liked. and then i ran home and sat down and watched... most of the episode of star trek with captain lord captain garth! man, that's some great acting. that guy was into shakespeare, i bet. and shatner's wrestling with himself, and his face in the Chair of Pain Rays! ahahahhaha LOVE. when kirk says he and spock are brothers and garth asks spock and spock rolls his eyes! and says the captain was speaking metaphorically! 'but he is, nonetheless, correct and i DO agree with him.' how much does kirk want to kiss him right then? a lot!

in less pleasant news, nowhere in the mall can i find a simple, classy skirt in khaki or denim--not thin polished cotton, not stretch, not pre-frayed, not micro-mini, not covered with pockets. just a SKIRT. i'm thinking j crew is my only recourse and auuugh i may never get them then, because they're so expensive. ::throws a fit::

I like Garth's coat. What is that, syntho-llama? Mock Yeti?

isn't it, like, army green? army-green llama? it's very kingly, that off-one-shoulder look, though.

I found a nice, simple khaki skirt at the Gap, and on sale, too! Of course, now I can't wear it, because of the bites and scratches healing on my right leg. But, still...
