It just so happens that I went to high school with a guy who got his modeling start in the Target catalog (from there he jumped to Mossimo, then Abercrombie, then Armani). SO! The answer to your question is Danny Blagaich, and I knew him back when he was a 98-pound geek with a bad early-90s hair flip :)
