Happy birthday! (It is today, right?) Hope you're having a fun, gorging on cake, etc. I feel like we haven't chatted (commented?) in ages, which is probably my fault, because I've been too busy freaking out over the school thing to do much more than run around like a chicken without a head. And I think we've both been on LJ a lot less. I've missed you, though! Things have been a lot less insightful and interesting lately... :-)
aw! now i feel all warm and fuzzy! thank you, i had a great birthday. i gorged myself first on raw broccoli salad (with olive oil, garlic and dulce which is what i call 'seaweed' and my aunt, jenny, calls a 'sea vegetable') and then on raw fruit pie with an almond-date crust. it tasted like a really good smoothie. but richer cause of that crust. i have missed our leetle snape conversations too.
you know, 'like a dead chicken' is my dad's favorite phrase for doing things poorly. ie 'your mother parks like a dead chicken,' 'lillian, you are getting to the point like a dead chicken,' 'someone around here tidies like a dead chicken.'
