one night i'll put my muk-luks on and ask her

+OMG, daddy gave me *one hundred dollars* for groceries! i can buy *all the avocados i want*, and tomatoes too!*

::faints::

+my bank's slogan is 'building and growing with the south'--does anyone else think that is the lamest slogan to ever sloge? i mean, what the fuck. it sounds like something from the Reconstruction. is the south's current level of, i don't know, growth/building represented, in the banking world, by an institution with only three branches covering two small-medium cities, and only two atms? not to mention that their computer system is often down, causing one's visa checkcard to be rejected?

*i think he felt bad about the curtness day before yest. i wasn't that hurt, but i'm ecstatic about the avocados. i am overflowing with filial devotion now, let me tell YOU.

oh yes, i adore california rolls, and avocado rolls too, actually. in fact, i may prefer the latter. the pieces are so small, and so surrounded by vinegar, rice, and seaweed, that you don't get the full flavor, though.

i usually don't put vinegar in, but yes i know what you mean. mm california rolls. i don't like any asian food except japanese, and that i love.

how can you have sushi rice without vinegar? i mean it's... half rice and half vinegar, practically. and you need it to be sticky!

[identity profile] wolfsage.livejournal.com 2004-03-10 08:38 pm (UTC)(link)
i always just buy the rice that's already sticky. its some sort of short grain, white rice, cooked plain.

[identity profile] cimness.livejournal.com 2004-03-11 02:43 pm (UTC)(link)
oh, thaaaaaat. chinese in origin perhaps. theirs is often short and sticky, by preference.

[identity profile] wolfsage.livejournal.com 2004-03-11 04:11 pm (UTC)(link)
that's probably right. i've always made it with that. never heard of using vinegar, but that's alright since i'm not a fan of vinegar at all.

ONE bad experience with vinegar, and you're off it for good!!! X(

'tell me more!' said the rooster!

[identity profile] wolfsage.livejournal.com 2004-03-11 07:08 pm (UTC)(link)
yeah.... uh. i sorta drank a glass of it. and the rest is TMI. ~_~

[identity profile] cimness.livejournal.com 2004-03-12 11:57 am (UTC)(link)
DRANK A GLASS??????

damn!

uh... why?

[identity profile] wolfsage.livejournal.com 2004-03-12 12:09 pm (UTC)(link)
...... ugh. i was, eheh, trying to induce vomitting. it, uh, sorta worked... i mean, i ended up throwing up about half the vinegar i drank (which burns like a BITCH btw) and the rest sloshed around in my stomach giving me heartburn for three days. yep. it was a fun experience, really. i'm a weird weird person. i don't even understand my motivations for certain things, looking back on them.

[identity profile] wolfsage.livejournal.com 2004-03-14 01:12 pm (UTC)(link)
hehehe yep. do not ever ever drink vinegar. O_o

[identity profile] cimness.livejournal.com 2004-03-11 05:38 pm (UTC)(link)
i crave vinegar with some regularity. and eat dill pickles and green olives out of the jar. and salads drenched in vinaigrette. and salt and vinegar potato chips...

x.x

uuugh. sorry. i don't like *any* of the things you've just described.

well, maybe i can eat a pickle or two if they are sliced thinly and put in a sandwich.
