+OMG, daddy gave me *one hundred dollars* for groceries! i can buy *all the avocados i want*, and tomatoes too!*
::faints::
+my bank's slogan is 'building and growing with the south'--does anyone else think that is the lamest slogan to ever sloge? i mean, what the fuck. it sounds like something from the Reconstruction. is the south's current level of, i don't know, growth/building represented, in the banking world, by an institution with only three branches covering two small-medium cities, and only two atms? not to mention that their computer system is often down, causing one's visa checkcard to be rejected?
*i think he felt bad about the curtness day before yest. i wasn't that hurt, but i'm ecstatic about the avocados. i am overflowing with filial devotion now, let me tell YOU.

Date: 10 Mar 2004 12:08 pm (UTC)okay. buy a large avocado, firm, no smushy spots, with a sort of red flush showing through the green skin. skin it. take out the core. cut the halves into a bowl. mix them with the juice of half a lime and two or three cloves of garlic. whip with a spoon. eat.
*so. good.*
they're *addictive.* avocados are going to become like a *habit* and it's almost as expensive as pot. i'm having to limit myself to one a day--the ones i bought today were $2.50 apiece! ::groan::
