well, it's a good thing i went to get my paycheck at 8:30 am, because it turns out it's supposed to rain up to an inch tonight AND tomorrow, which would make camping IMPOSSIBLE. our options were to cancel all together or switch weekends--but i'd have to ask for ANOTHER weekend off, and who knows if i could get it? and it'd have to be either right before or right after my trip to finland which will take slightly MORE than seven days, i think.

but my check was $140, and i can get two nights of a hotel room close to the place for $80. and just be slightly broke the rest of the week. if taumas ever gets up because he has to agree to the new plan.

er, i get $5.75 an hour, which is slightly over minimum.

yeah, well, you live in europe. and minimum wage is generally higher there. but you also pay more taxes (of course i'd welcome more taxes. but.) and then i have no living expenses except food. and they wouldn't let me starve.
