alive and well after delays in chicago made me miss my international flight. i had to stay there overnight the 24th, and the new flight didn't leave until 4.45 pm on the 25th. but i got two seats, and was able to sleep sort of stretched out. wax got me, and dumped me at mece's, and i'm staying in her sister-in-law tove's new apartment, which is huge, until the 1st. i won't see wax until the day after tomorrow. tomorrow i should try to navigate an international students' orientation, membership in the student union, and possibly arrangements for internet service in our apartment. also i still have to register for classes. i should probably refresh my memory: what classes ARE there?

Welcome to Turku! And don't worry too much about registering to classes. Unless ÅA works completely differently from TY, for the most of the classes you just have to show up for the first lecture and that's it.

so when's the english club meet? :)

See if they have English as a Second Language. Guaranteed easy 'A'.
