whinge

dear god.  my mouse hand is NUMB with cold.  i need like a fingerless glove with a mini hot water bottle in the palm.  or maybe electrical wiring like in an electric blanket.

You need to get those little handwarmer sachets that you shake up. And stick them on your mouse. Or sew them into a pair of gloves, or something.

These. (http://www.paramountzone.com/handwarmer.htm)

And you just shake them about, or squeeze them, and they warm your hands all up. Honest. My friends used to have them for hillwalking. They don't have to be as big as those, either, just mouse-sized.

You could make a fortune ;)

i'd only ever heard of disposable ones, and you broke those to make them work. people used them at football games--in alabama, where you never really need them. but... huh. if only i knew where to get them.

someone who invented a mouseglove would get so rich. really. i have thought about it very often.

they do exist. i saw them in the in-flight catalog... but they weren't heated, they were just forearm-and-palm covers of polartec. unfortunately i have no knowledge of electrical wiring. am not about to make a mini electric blanket.

but i do have a lot of spare polartec. i could make myself one of those.

or get some long gloves and cut the ends of the fingers off.

you'd only need to cut the undersides of the fingertips off, ne? and then, only the first two fingers (unless you use side buttons a lot).

if i was clever at inventing i'd so invent a heated mouse that heated itself to use in conjunction with a mouseglove.

Oooor you could turn up the heating... I've got it turned way down cause it's been so warm outside, but now it's not!
