finally, finally went to see LoTR -- wow -- such scenery - such attention to detail - i think i want a shire cloak pin (maybe i'll make one) -- and how can 3 hours go by so fast? --- didn't make it to bed by 11, didja?

neither leader nor follower i be ...as me irish granny was wont to say ... however she might've been mistaken on the first part (shhhh, but i'd never tell her that, rest her soul)
i put off seeing FoTR as i often do with books i've read turned into film -- but i just couldn't stand it anymore! and this time i was happily impressed with the film result (even tho i felt the battles got more relative time than they deserved)
