Usually only in fic (unless it's my cousin's posts; he expects it of me ;)

I actually have lots of friends on my flist who misspell stuff. Unfortunately I've told them before and they're like "WhutTt???"

Generally it's more of a "Oh! You spelled that... That way... I...I hope that's a typo."

Though I do write giant ranting posts about the proper way to spell specific words. ;x

are you talking about posts? as opposed to fic.

[identity profile] cimness.livejournal.com 2005-05-02 11:38 pm (UTC)(link)
yeah. posts.

Only in fic posts, which I know people would thank me for. In other day-to-day sort of posts I honestly don't mind the odd typo. Most of my flist knows how to spell pretty well anyway.

I am so the Correct English Usage Enforcer. If it's in a personal journal or looks like a typo, I let it slide. But if someone posts in chat-speak in a community, god help them.

Only if it's one of those "Did you mean to type 'Doc Martens' or 'douchebags' there? 'Cause it makes a difference." situations.

it would be too annoying to do it everytime, i think; plus, i can usually just edit in my head and get over it. (i do, however, like it when people correct my spelling.)
