cimorene: cartoony drawing of a woman's head in profile giving dubious side-eye (;))

Where are the nuclear wessels?

  1. Bad lip-syncing in music videos is embarrassing to watch.

  2. Two days ago, I stepped over the broken remains of a bottle that actually said WODKA on it. If not for the broken glass I'd've taken it with me. Today it was still there so I took a picture with my cameraphone. The brand is magic, so it actually says WODKA MAGIC. But I can't get the picture to my computer because I can't email pictures with the pre-paid phone chip.

1. *agrees* Bad lip-syncing in music videos is nearly as cringe-worthy as watching a member of a band play the guitar and knowing that the guy can't actually play so he's just pretending to play while the music is from a tape.

2.) ...What's so special about a bottle with "Wodka" on it?

And there are a lot of "play"'s in the first sentence. I really should stop posting things before reading through them at least twice.

Because it's a bad Russian movie accent spelled phonetically. It's spelled Vodka in English, which is what the bottle was labelled in.

Ah, I see! It's spelled "Wodka" in German (as "Vodka" could be pronounced "Fodka" here), so it didn't strike me at odd.

Ah. I will always think of my highschool exchange to Germany when I hear (or hey, read) the word Wodka.

The memories!
