So, I had a really cool kind of... ghost story thriller dream with magic, intelligent dogs, bodies hiding in the caretaker's lodge of a golf club, parades, and free socks. And magic, did I say? And I turned off my alarm and slept again exactly 1 hour, which I love, and the dog had decided to sleep in my arms instead of on top of my feet for once which I also love. ♥

And then I woke up and discovered I did something in my sleep to my right shoulder and now it apparently doesn't work at all anymore. There's pain if I move it, there's pain if I hold it still, there's pain regardless of the position, and stretching it in all the directions I can think of seems to do nothing. I'm sitting with it on a hot water bottle but that doesn't help all that much either. It's making me grind my teeth unconsciously which is also making my jaw hurt. And it's raining.

Now that sounds like a very cool dream. I wish you could record dreams, dammit. :(

LOL. The caretaker who lived in the lodge at this big tourist attraction... country club... farm place... was like, this woman who I knew from back when I was a kid in school... except it wasn't really her, she was kind of this hot redheaded middle-aged magician woman? And people were in her house learning how to make these magic balls out of walnuts and raw eggs and stuff that were supposed to look sparkly and sort of like a wire puzzle, and then when you squish them between your hands they vanish in a puff of glitter and it leaves a little candied nut... candy thing that you can eat, right? And she took me and some other girl (no one I know!) aside to tell us that people had been vanishing and and TURNING UP DEAD, and the bodies were all in her storeroom at the lodge, and she didn't put them there, they just SHOW UP, and I was like, we were just there! And she was like, "You didn't see all those big bags?" DUN DUN HORROR. So then she sent us away because it wasn't safe for us at night, but it was for her - maybe - because she was a magician. But she insisted that I take some socks with me first. But it was almost sunset by the time we left because we kept talking about the socks. So finally me and this girl left, and we were running down the dirt road to the entrance to the farm...club...place... and we had to cross and jump over this wire gate, but suddenly this huge marching band came up behind us and almost trampled us and I dropped the bag I was carrying. All the socks spilled out and we bent down to pick them up, and even though there were only supposed to be three pairs, there were like, seven in there, and after we put them all back, it was like the same seven pairs appeared on the ground again. I wanted to check in the bag to make sure, but my friend was just like "Come ON!" so we jumped over the fence and tried to sneak across the pony pasture. There was also a big friendly talking dog there.
