The best part of watching She-Ra yesterday was when some troopers asked Hordak if they should take the prisoners to a cell, and he snarled, "Yeeeeeeeeeeees! An uncomfortable one!"

That is true evil, dudes.

Oh, wow, that's some nostalgia. I got the first dvd set for Christmas, too, but I haven't gotten around to watching it yet. I'm wondering how it will stack up against my memories of watching it as a kid.

I just watched the first three episodes that I remember as the pilot - they're really one story. And yeah, it was even sillier and worse than I remembered, even though I taped it from TV as a kid, so I actually have a collection on VHS and last watched it in high school sometime, I think.

A good one-word summary would be 'lolarious'.

I wanted to be She-ra so badly, back in the day. :(

Were She-ra and He-man totally going to get together before they realised they were brother and sister, or did I just make that up when I was a kid?

I definitely detected overtones of Star Wars, yes. I thought that too when I first saw it. But thank goodness She-Ra was left free for slashing!

I wore my She-Ra costume to school several times when I was in kindergarten... even though my hair was brown.

HORDAK IS MY FAVORITE. for sure, he is a fantastic villain who does not get enough credit. plus: ARMOR OF BONES. that's hardcore.
