music and statistics: a winning combination

Look, I got a lastfm account! I've had a lot of fun refreshing the profile page constantly, obsessively monitoring the favourite artist rankings and attempting to correct them ("I don't like Jewel more than Kokia! I must remove all trace of her from my playlist until this is rectified!"), and marking my favourite tracks with a little red heart. Apparently you can also use it to like, listen to streaming music from your collection, your friends, and "similar artists". Or something.

Awesome! I love last.fm and obsessively check it. I shall add you.

last.fm is awesome. I discovered so many incredible artists thanks to it! I don't want to live without it.

The fact that the "wrong" artists ended up at the top of my lists bothered me so much that I eventually stopped using last.fm. That, and also the audioscrobbler plugins never seemed to work properly.

i wants to be your last.fm friend!

my main complaint with last.fm is that it does not magically know when i've been playing the hush sound for three days straight at work, because i play it off of a CD.

..Yes. Yes, it's still a little short on magic. :/
