Although I did have a SUPER COMFY OMG bra from Wolford once, and we're not going to talk about what I paid for that.

Mm, yeah, I've heard of them! Wax has paid quite a bit for bras before, too. It seems somehow more acceptable when it's got some construction in it.

um. silk content? durable and soft and beautifully made and not likely to have runs at the first touch? i mean, i don't wear that shit anymore, and I never had the dough to buy some, but once I borrowed a pair of wolford's from mom and I could tell the difference. Considering the price of the ones I was trying to wear more than once in those days, the wolfords seemed like actuall good value for the money (this was over ten years ago).

considering I only wear tights, like, once a decade, I am kind of !!! about it. However I realised long ago that some people with lots of money will spend it on ridiculously priced things (good or bad quality). I wouldn't be surprised if there were $200 tights out there.

I checked WHAT THE SHIT!!, then thought about it and have come to the conclusion that it's not actually that surprising. However, I wouldn't buy them as long as H&M are cranking out ridiculously comfy cotton and wool tights for 7 dollars.

Yeah, I mean, in retrospect, I know that there's always high-end stuff for crazy Upper East Side socialites and starlets to waste their extra money on. The fact that these are supposed to be somehow for normal people just strikes me as utterly bizarre though. Even with some silk content, and being soft and nice, I'd think the cap would be somewhere near half that amount for most people's day-to-day use. Or maybe thirty bucks, if they're feeling luxe.
