CHICAGO peeps!

We totally talked to [personal profile] aynatonal and a couple of other people months ago about meeting when we're in Chicago but forgot to follow up!

Next Monday 28 September [personal profile] waxjism & I will be in Chicago about 8 hours. Flight's supposed to arrive at 12:20 (that's noon), though we have to go through Customs after that, and our connection doesn't leave until 9 pm, so we were planning to use the afternoon to see some fannish peeps? How's about it, dudes?

Okay! Provisionally, dinner at 6, which will allow people who get off work to migrate to the restaurant -- I'll look for a place right off the CTA Blue Line that goes straight to the airport, just in case traffic is dicey and it would be quicker to put you on the train after dinner. I'll do some emailing and look for a suitable restaurant -- anything you miss/particularly in the mood for/would not touch with a ten-foot pole/allergic-to?

Wax doesn't like super-spicy stuff, but I am a fan of Tex Mex. Any grill-type place is fine though. I even like Applebee's and Chili's so I guess I am not very picky. [personal profile] devon is voting for the availability of booze! We will be in her company at that time and I'll PM you with her number for contact!
