We totally talked to aynatonal and a couple of other people months ago about meeting when we're in Chicago but forgot to follow up!

Next Monday 28 September waxjism & I will be in Chicago about 8 hours. Flight's supposed to arrive at 12:20 (that's noon), though we have to go through Customs after that, and our connection doesn't leave until 9 pm, so we were planning to use the afternoon to see some fannish peeps? How's about it, dudes?

Yes! I think that'll work out reasonably well, actually--I'm taking the day off to hang out with some friends who have Yom Kippur free from work, but our plans are lunch plans, and I'm available between the end of that and a rehearsal I've got at 6:30. So mid-afternoonish?

Oh, fun! Let's see what other folks are available for and we can make a plan.

Oooh! I have to work until five, but if you're up for it, it would be totally great to meet up! There are a lot of other fangirls in town that you might already know (shrift, celli, svmadelyn) - maybe we could work out a dinner plan? I don't know what kind of food you might be missing, aside from things that involve avocados.
