retro heels of the day

A nice uptick in 1910s-1930s-nostalgic shoe styles and silhouettes this season. This is definitely my favorite high heel silhouette, one of the most comfortable and elegant in my view. Here, a bunch that look like they're about to head straight into a ballroom dancing class.

The Baby Basic (either way) is My Kind Of Shoe. And all of these manage to be lovely without being ankle-breakingly high, which I appreciate. They look like shoes to dance in.

Would you have some advice on shoe shopping? My teengirl wants those converse ombre dip-dye shoes they were selling last year, and I cannot for the life of me find any actually for sale on the internet. Tried ebay and amazon and zappos, am baffled and would appreciate your advice.
